Summary

This article is about sightings of huge icebergs approaching New Zeland. This rare event has only happened two times in the last 78 years, the last one was in 2006. They estimated about 100 individual icebergs. Only 10 percent of an iceberg are visible over water witch makes it dangerous for the ships.

  1. Our group thinks that this is a perfect example of a major effect of global warming. Also ships can become damaged or even sink if they crash against an iceberg. We recomend for no ships to sail in that area
